HC Deb 30 November 1939 vol 355 c235
24. Mr. Keeling

asked the Under-Secretary of State for India what arrangements have been made in consultation with the Red Cross and Order of St. John for the despatch of parcels to Indian seamen interned in Germany?

The Under-Secretary of State for India (Sir Hugh O'Neill)

The Red Cross and St. John War Organisation have made arrangements by which it is hoped to effect the early despatch of a generous supply of warm clothing to the Indian seamen detained in Germany. The question of supplying suitable food is also under consideration.
