HC Deb 30 November 1939 vol 355 c250
73. Mr. Jackson

asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster whether he is aware that many corn merchants in the West Country and Mid-Wales are not getting more than 20 per cent. of their pre-war supply of cattle, pig and poultry foods; and whether he will have this state of affairs improved?

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

Steps have been taken which it is hoped will improve the situation in the areas mentioned.
