asked the Secretary of State for Air particulars of the arrangements he proposes to establish in respect of the granting of leave and free rail conveyance to Royal Air Force personnel?

Personnel in the United Kingdom will be given free railway warrants for travelling on leave twice a year, including embarkation leave.

Mr. Mathers

This decision brings the Royal Air Force into line with the other services. May I ask whether the reference to free railway warrants includes free steamer warrants where, for example, the personnel is situated in the Orkney Islands?
