HC Deb 02 November 1939 vol 352 cc2097-8
46. Commander Locker-Lampson

asked the Prime Minister whether he will grant a day, or half a day, in which to discuss the White Paper dealing with German atrocities?

The Prime Minister

No, Sir. As indicated in the introduction, the documents in the White Paper were published to enable public opinion here and abroad to form its own judgment. The facts disclosed speak for themselves, and I do not consider that a useful purpose would be served by debating them.

Mr. Noel-Baker

Will the Prime Minister consider asking the Minister of Information to give it adequate publicity, here and abroad?

The Prime Minister

It has been done.
