asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether a further Parliamentary statement from him can be expected at an early date dealing with operations of the naval forces to date?

I hope to make a further statement next week.

Can that answer be taken to mean that the right hon. Gentleman will exhilarate the country and the House periodically on this matter?

Mr. Vyvyan Adams

Will my right hon. Friend arrange at an early date to give another broadcast?

Mr. Cassells

Can the right hon. Gentleman state that he is satisfied as to the whereabouts of the "Deutschland" type ships, "Columbus" and "Orinoko"?
