§ Mr. ButlerYes, Sir. The Iraqi Government are aware of the attitude of His Majesty's Government and have given formal assurances that they will not allow the Mufti of Jerusalem to be politically active himself nor allow his presence to be used as an occasion for agitation by others.
§ Mr. WilliamsCan we have an assurance that the Mufti will not be able to find his way back into Palestine as easily as he found his way into Iraq?
