§ Sir T. InskipNine properties have been approved for acquisition since May, 2027 1938, totalling 11,961 acres; of these, two have actually been acquired and seven are in process of acquisition. Ten further properties are now under consideration for purchase and will be submitted shortly to the Legislative Council for approval. Twenty-two schemes (acreage 26,215) have already been settled; 12 schemes (acreage 13,278) are at present being settled; and nine schemes (acreage 11,468) are in process of acquisition for settlement. Approximately 18,530 persons have been provided for to date.
