HC Deb 13 March 1939 vol 345 cc26-7
40. Sir Gifford Fox

asked the Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department what procedure should be adopted by firms desirous of securing for their representatives visiting overseas markets the help of the representatives of the Overseas Trade Department?

Mr. R. S. Hudson (Secretary, Overseas Trade Department)

The firms in question should apply to my Department in order that notification may be sent to the Department's officers in the countries concerned instructing them to render all possible assistance to the firms' representatives. Applications as far in advance of the visits as possible are desirable.
