§ Sir S. HoareAbout 2,000 of these children have already been repatriated, and the number now remaining in this country is 1,642, of whom another 40 will, I understand, return to their parents in Spain before Easter. The committee are anxious to restore all the children remaining in their care to Spain as speedily as possible and I am in consultation with the committee as to their plans for this purpose.
