§ Mr. Stanley75,400 tons of calcium carbide were imported into this country in the 12 months ended 31st May last, and the average declared c.i.f. value was £9 5s. a ton. As regards the latter part of the question, I would refer the hon. Member to the answer given on 25th April to the hon. Member for Stoke (Mr. E. Smith).
