asked the Prime Minister whether he has any information as to which Governments have applied to the German Government for the recognition of their Consuls in Prague?

Mr. Butler

Yes, Sir, but I am not at present authorised to make a statement.

Mr. Roberts

When will it be possible for the Under-Secretary to make a statement?

Mr. Butler

As soon as I receive authority from the other Governments.

Is it not perfectly well known that both France and Russia are not applying for this exequatur?

Mr. Butler

I cannot accept that statement of the right hon. Gentleman.
