HC Deb 19 June 1939 vol 348 c1814
65. Mr. Stephen

asked the Minister of Health whether his attention has been drawn to the decision of the divisional court in the case of Donovan versus National Amalgamated Approved Society; and what steps he intends to take to have all cases reviewed where pension has been refused in circumstances similar to those of Mrs. Donovan, with a view to the granting of pension in all such cases?

Mr. Bernays

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative; as regards the second part, it is my right hon. Friend's intention to review all cases which have been noted or may be brought to light, in which, having regard to the decision of the court, a claim to pension might succeed.
