HC Deb 19 June 1939 vol 348 cc1820-3
Mr. Arthur Greenwood

Will the Prime Minister tell us for what purposes he proposes to suspend the Eleven o' Clock Rule to-night, and whether it is intended that the House should sit late?

Motion made, and Question put, That the proceedings on Government Business be exempted, at this day's Sitting, from the provisions of the Standing Order (Sittings of the House). — [The Prime Minister.]
