asked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that persons liable to be called up under the Military Training Act have been refused employment for that reason in Willenhall, Staffs; and what steps he proposes to take to remove this disability?

I have no particulars of such cases.

Mr. Mander

Would the Minister not strongly deprecate the action of any employer in refusing employment to a young man solely on the ground that he was liable to be called up under the Military Training Act?
