HC Deb 14 June 1939 vol 348 cc1286-7
26. Mr. V. Adams

asked the Secretary of State for Air whether he will make a general statement on the existing air power of Great Britain; and, in particular, whether it is now adequate to counter any menace from Germany?

Captain Balfour

I am unable to add to what my right hon. Friend said when he dealt with this question on discussion of the Air Estimates for 1939 on 9th and 14th March last. As regards the second part of the question, I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given by the Prime Minister to a question by the hon. Member for Wolverhampton, East (Mr. Mander) on 21st February.
