asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether there is any restriction on the immigration of Arabs into Palestine; and, if so, will he give particulars?

Yes, Sir. The Palestine Immigration Ordinance applied to all persons wishing to enter Palestine irrespective of race. In each immigration quota it is customary to reserve a small proportion of certificates for non-Jews. Strict measures are taken to prevent the illegal immigration of Arabs.
