To consider, with the proposed merger of Imperial Airways and British Airways in view, how best to improve co-ordination between aircraft constructors, air line operators and the Air Ministry in the production of civil air lines, and how development work can best be initiated, controlled and— within approved limits— financed.The Committee have now reported and I have arranged for their report to be published very shortly as a White Paper.
