Mr. Crowderasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that two accidents, entailed by the collision of light tanks with motor cars, were reported in the Crookham-Crondall district last month; whether, when it is essential for tanks to use public roads the need is impressed upon drivers of ascertaining the width of such roads or the possibility of using alternative thoroughfares; whether drivers of tanks are familiar with the topography of the district in which they operate; and whether he will consider issuing general instructions on this matter?
