asked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the fact that the amount raised in rates in England and Wales has risen from £146,294,000 in 1933. to £189,000,000 in 1939, or nearly 30 per cent. in six years, he will state what steps he is taking to abate the heavy burden now falling on the occupants of houses and others?
