asked the Minister of Labour the number of unemployed men and women, respectively, registered at the Dewsbury Employment Exchange on 1st July, 1938, and 1st July, 1939?

Figures are not available for 1st July, but at 13th June, 1938, 2,265 men and 1,222 women, aged 18 and over, were registered as unemployed

Did not the right hon. Gentleman say two years ago when he was going about the country, that he would eliminate this kind of unemployment? He has not done it yet.
