Resolution reported:

House of Commons Members Fund. That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to provide for the making, in certain cases, of grants to, and to the widows of, persons who have been members of the House of Commons, the salary or pension of a member from which deductions are to be made under the said Act shall not be treated for any of the purposes of the Income Tax Acts as reduced by reason of the provisions of the said Act or of deductions made pursuant thereto, and a member shall not be entitled to any allowance, deduction or relief, under any provision of the Income Tax Acts by reason of such deductions and his income shall not be regarded as thereby diminished.
