asked the Secretary of State for War the number of Members of the House who now hold commissions in the Army?

Eighty-four hon. Members hold commissions in one branch or another of the Army.

Mr. Mander

Can the right hon. Gentleman say how many of the commissions are held by members of the Government? Is it two or three?

Mr. Hore-Belisha

I cannot say precisely, because the question refers to Members of the House; but there are such commissions.

Mr. Mander

If I put down a further question will the right hon. Gentleman answer it?
