Gibsonasked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware that there are frequent misunderstandings and difficulties on the part of drivers of vehicles at the traffic island at the West Station, in Greenock, caused by the insufficiency of directional indicators there; and what steps he proposes to take in this matter towards securing the safety of the public and the assistance of drivers of vehicles?
§ Captain WallaceI was not aware of any difficulties experienced by drivers at the traffic island in question, which is provided with three illuminated bollards with "Keep Left" signs for the guidance of traffic. I will, however, make inquiries to see whether any improvement can be made.
