§ Mr. ColvilleThe numbers of old age pensioners receiving public assistance in Ross and Cromarty (including Lewis), and in Inverness-shire (including the islands), at 15th November, 1938, were 334 and 369 respectively.
§ Mr. ColvilleI cannot say whether it is an increase or a decrease.
§ Mr. GallacherIs the Minister not aware that this is a very undesirable state of affairs, and will he not recommend an increase in pensions?
