§ The Assistant Postmaster-General (Sir Walter Womersley)As stated by my right hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs on 6th February last, in answer to a question by my hon. Friend the Member for Chester (Sir C. Cayzer), arrangements have been in force for a considerable time to obtain accurate data regarding foreign news broadcasts. I am informed that the British Broadcasting Corporation makes every effort to secure correct information and to publish the true facts concerning matters which have been the subject of in-accurate statements in foreign broadcasts.
