Mr. Westwoodasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will give the names of all the education authorities who have prepared provisional schemes for granting employment certificates under Section 2 of the Education (Scotland) Act, 1936; and the employment they have determined shall not be considered as beneficial?
Mr. WedderburnCertain education authorities have prepared or are now engaged in preparing plans for dealing with applications for employment certificates, but as Section 2 of the Education (Scotland) Act, 1936, does not require the formal submission of these plans, particulars are not readily available. I am, however, making inquiries and will communicate the results to the hon. Member.
