§ Mr. ElliotI beg to move, in page 5, line 38, at the end, to insert:
(3) The principal of and the interest on any sums lent under this Section shall by virtue of this Act be charged on the undertaking and all the revenues of the said Trust.This Amendment is moved in order to secure an economy in legal costs. I understand that as the Bill is drafted it would be necessary for the National Radium Trust to execute legal instruments in respect of each loan received from the Department. If the Committee accept this Amendment I am told that it will simplify the legal procedure and documents in respect of each transaction and thereby reduce costs.
