§ Mr. CrossI am aware that the question of the reichsmark-lei rate was discussed during the negotiations which led up to the Rumanian-German Agreement of 951 December last. The rate fixed by that Agreement was in fact very little higher than that which obtained previously. As the hon. Member is aware, a Trade Mission is at present in Rumania with the object of promoting Anglo-Rumanian Trade.
