HC Deb 25 April 1939 vol 346 cc966-7
64. Mr. Tinker

asked the Prime Minister whether he is aware that the executive committee of the Miners Federation of Great Britain had information on 4th March that it was the intention of Germany to occupy Prague on 15th March; whether His Majesty's Government had knowledge of what was taking place; and, if not, will he have our secret service inquired into?

Mr. Butler

I would refer to my reply to the hon. Member for South Shields (Mr. Ede) on 20th March. As I informed the hon. Member for West Fife (Mr. Gallacher) on the same day, His Majesty's Government are satisfied with their present sources of information in Central Europe.
