Friend is referring to certain complaints made by the National Federation of Post Office Veterans as to the calculation of lump sum allowances awarded to civil servants on retirement between 1922 and 1934, I would refer him to my answer of 21st July last to the right hon. Member for Hillsborough (Mr. Alexander).
