§ 16. Mr. Loganasked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that there are many cases of unemployed men in Liverpool who have not yet received winter allowances; and whether he will expedite payments?
§ Mr. E. BrownI am informed by the Unemployment Assistance Board that the review of current cases in Liverpool in accordance with instructions issued by the Board in connection with increased allowances under the Winter Adjustments Regulations—of which a copy was placed in the Library—has now been completed. Each case has been considered on its merits and an addition has been made where the circumstances require it.
§ Mr. BrownI could not say that, but if the hon. Member will put down another question I can give him the whole of the facts.
