HC Deb 23 November 1938 vol 341 c1743
34. Mr. Parker

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is aware that Hanna Asfour, legal adviser of the Palestine Arab Workers' Society, was arrested in Haifa at the beginning of this month; whether he is still interned in a concentration camp at Acre; what was the reason for his arrest; and whether, in view of his important services to the Arab labour movement, he may be set at liberty?

Mr. M. MacDonald

I have no information on the matter, but I have asked the High Commissioner for a report.
