§ Mr. Hore-BelishaThe articles of clothing and equipment required by War Office regulations to be obtained by a soldier on joining the Army are provided without expense to the soldier. Further, special instructions have been given that soldiers shall be protected from unauthorised 1526 expense on account of regimental customs.
