asked the Prime Minister whether a reply has now been received from the German Government to the protest made on behalf of His Majesty's Government in respect of the attack on the Leader of the Opposition and other Members of this House?

No, Sir. No reply has yet been received.

Do His Majesty's Government expect that the German Government will in due course send a reply to this protest?
