HC Deb 21 November 1938 vol 341 cc1310-1
12. Mr. Arthur Henderson

asked the Prime Minister whether his attention has been drawn to the anti-British propaganda now being carried on in Germany through the medium of agencies under the direct control of the German Government; that charges are being made against His Majesty's Government of permitting acts of terrorism in India and Palestine; and whether he proposes to take any action in the matter?

15. Mr. Lipson

asked the Prime Minister what is being done to counteract the propaganda that is being carried on in. Germany against Great Britain?

The Prime Minister

The answer to the first two parts of the question by the hon. Member for Kingswinford (Mr. Henderson) is in the affirmative. The German Government will be well aware of the unfortunate effect of such articles on Anglo-German relations, and my Noble Friend does not consider that it is necessary to draw their attention to this fact.
