asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what were the average wages of ploughmen, cattle-

The following are the average weekly wages of each class of workers specified, in each of the districts defined under the Agricultural Wages (Regulation) (Scotland) Act, 1937, as ascertained by the Department of Agriculture for Scotland at Whit-Sunday, 1935, and Whit-Sunday, 1938, with a weighted average in each case for Scotland as a whole.
