asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Education the number of children attending secondary schools in receipt of free milk, giving separate figures for the administrative county of Lancashire?

The returns received from the schools show that on 31st March, 1938, the latest date for which figures are available, 5,031 children in grant-earning secondary schools in England and Wales received free milk, of whom 29 were attending secondary schools in the administrative county of Lancashire. No information is available as to the number
