§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. It has not yet been found possible to arrange a joint meeting between the parties, but my Department will continue its efforts to assist in reaching a settlement.
§ Mr. MorrisonWill the Parliamentary Secretary bear in mind that it is not fair not only to the employés of this firm who are in dispute, but to other employers who are giving decent conditions, that a firm like this should he allowed to continue in the way it has been doing; 1647 and will his officers make further efforts to settle this dispute?
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydI think that in the interests of all concerned the hon. Member will be well advised to be content with my answer that the Department will continue its efforts to assist in reaching a settlement.
