HC Deb 16 May 1938 vol 336 c21
41. Mr. Graham White

asked the Minister of Agriculture the number of prosecutions which have taken place for noncompliance with the Warble Fly Dressing Order?

Mr. W. S. Morrison

The Warble Fly (Dressing of Cattle) Order of 1936 is required to be enforced by the local authorities by whom any legal proceedings would normally be taken. Notification has been received of eight prosecutions undertaken by local authorities during 1936, the first year of the operation of the Order, and of 51 prosecutions during 1937. Details of any prosecutions in respect of the current year have not yet been received from local authorities.
