HC Deb 03 May 1938 vol 335 c683
19. Mr. Hannah

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he is aware that the buildings of Tailors' Hall, in Edinburgh, are rapidly disintegrating from the weather; and whether he can make any further statement?

The Lord Advocate

I understand that the National Trust for Scotland and certain private interests are in touch with the corporation with a view to seeing what can be done to recondition Tailors' Hall buildings. My right hon. Friend realises that, unless steps are taken for the preservation of the building, there is a risk of deterioration taking place.
