Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make provision with regard to the tenure of office and superannuation of members of the Scottish Land Court, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of fixed retiring allowances to members other than the Chairman, or of the expenditure incurred in the application to such members of the Superannuation Acts, 1834 to 1935, in like manner as if these Acts had applied prior to their appointment."—(King's recommendation signified.)—[Mr. Elliot.]
