HC Deb 29 March 1938 vol 333 c1821
23. Mr. Day

asked the Minister of Pensions the number of cases which have been reviewed, and an increase of pension awarded, during the three years ended to the last convenient date?

Mr. Munro (Lord of the Treasury)

I have been asked to reply. The number of cases which were reviewed and an increase of pension awarded during the three years ended 31st December last was 8,385.

Mr. Day

Is it not a fact that there is a great deal of dissatisfaction about the way these pensions are awarded?

Mr. Munro

I am not aware of it.
