During the years 1381 1936 and 1937 and the first two months of 1938 exports of coal from the United Kingdom consigned to Eire amounted to 2,459,000 tons, 2,578,000 tons and 398,000 tons, respectively, and were valued at £2,395,000, £2,661,000 and £435,000, respectively.
