§ Mr. BurginI have communicated with the county council, and I am satisfied that they are fully aware of their powers under the Restriction of Ribbon Development Act. As the Act requires that every application shall be considered on its merits, I do not feel it would be proper for me to ask the county council to say in advance what decision they will take on any particular application.
