asked the Minister of Transport whether a decision has yet been arrived at following the representations of the local inhabitants that the 30 miles per hour speed limit should be re-imposed on the new Glasgow-Edinburgh Road passing through Carntyne?

No, Sir. I have felt it necessary to arrange for a local inquiry to be held into this matter, and arrangements have been made for it to be held on the 29th March.
