The number of civil aerodromes licensed for public use and opened in the years referred to was as follows:

Owned by local authorities. In private ownership.
1935 … 6 2
1936 … 4 2
1937 … 5 1
Twelve aerodromes are known to be in course of construction by local authorities.

Now that the Cadman Report has been published will my hon. and gallant Friend promise a more vigorous policy in developing the civil airports in this country?
