HC Deb 16 June 1938 vol 337 cc369-70
24. Mr. W. A. Robinson

asked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that a trade dispute, arising out of a non-acceptance of an award by the vice. Their remuneration is based on a scale related to the volume of work. It continues during a branch manager's absence on holiday or sick leave, but either he will have to appoint a deputy, or an officer of the Department can be placed in control at a charge of 10s. a day; the conditions of service do not include provision for pensions.

Mr. Thorne

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

The hon. Member will find the full conditions set out in the memorandum.
