§ Mr. BurginAs the hon. Member will be aware, considerable time is required for manufacturing, installing and bringing into use large additional units of generating plant for the purposes of the grid system. It is the practice of the Central Electricity Board to keep under constant review the prospective growth of demand on the system and to work to a plan based upon such growth; and in so doing to bear in mind the considerations to which the hon. Member has drawn attention.
