HC Deb 14 June 1938 vol 337 c29
64. Sir Adrian Baillie

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is aware of the disappointment in the poultry industry over the absence of any official announcement of policy; and whether he can now make any statement as to what action the Ministry proposes to take for safeguarding the industry?

Mr. Ramsbotham

My right hon. Friend is aware of the desirability of making a statement on this matter as soon as possible, but he is not yet in a position to add to the reply he gave my hon. Friend the Member for Kidderminster (Sir J. Wardlaw-Milne) on 19th May.

Mr. De la Bère

When are we to have a well-thought-out policy for agriculture presented to the nation?
