HC Deb 21 July 1938 vol 338 c2417
46. Mr. Batey

asked the Prime Minister whether the Government can now take steps to implement the report of the Departmental Committee which reported last January on miners' nystagmus, medical examinations and certificates, and also lump sum settlements?

The Prime Minister

The question of implementing some of the committee's recommendations will fall to be considered when the programme for next Session is being prepared, and I am not in a position to make any further statement now.
